Job Introduction

We are looking for a motivated and analytically driven professional to join our Group Internal Audit team as an Internal Auditor, based at our headquarters in Llodio. In this role, you will contribute to strengthening Vidrala’s internal control environment and risk management frameworks, supporting the integrity, transparency and sustainability of our operations across all business units.

The Challenge

Based at our headquarters (Llodio), and reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will join a dynamic Internal Audit function, working across projects, countries and business areas.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability of controls, identifying risks and driving continuous improvement across the Group, collaborating closely with teams such as Finance, Operations, People & Culture and Sustainability.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the execution and maintenance of the Group’s internal control framework (SCIIF).
  • Review and update process documentation, including risk and control matrices across business units.
  • Perform control testing, including evidence collection and evaluation.
  • Contribute to the review of criminal risk prevention models (Spain & Portugal).
  • Monitor and follow up on action plans derived from audit and control reviews.
  • Support the development and maintenance of corporate risk maps.
  • Participate in internal audit projects (e.g. ITGC, sustainability, procurement).
  • Contribute to the development of non-financial reporting internal controls (SCIIS / ESG frameworks).


The Key Requirements & Competences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in external audit or GRC consulting (Big4 or equivalent).
  • Experience in internal control, risk management or compliance frameworks (e.g. COSO, ISO 31000).
  • Experience in control testing and audit methodologies.
  • Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to financial processes and controlsKnowledge of ESG / non-financial reporting frameworks (desirable).
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems is a plusFluent English (spoken and written).
  • Availability to travel.
